Consultant Led by Des Holden, BSc. MBBS. MRCOG. PhD

Des Holden qualified from King’s College London 1987. His post graduate studies were in East Anglia and prior to appointment to Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2000 he spent 7 years working in St George’s Hospital London where he gained a PhD in Biochemical medicine and was the lecturer in Fetal Medicine. He is a busy NHS Obstetrician and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex medical school. He has a clinical and research interest in medical problems in pregnancy, placetal function and fetal growth.
