All scanning is performed by a fully qualified sonographer or obstetrician. Scans are temperamental things, we may get you on a day when everything goes swimmingly (in the womb) but other times we may not be able to see much so we will ask you to take a walk and a drink to see if we can encourage things to move around a little.
If we really can’t see anything don’t worry, we will reschedule things for another day at no extra cost.
